The Portfolio project pushed me to reflect on who I am as a designer while creating a visual identity that feels personal and expressive. Inspired by Pinterest and scrapbook aesthetics, I blended colorful illustrations, photos, and layered textures to bring my personality to life. I paired a playful script typeface with a clean sans serif to create visual contrast and rhythm, using typography not just as text but as part of the design itself. I used InDesign to fully build the portfolio, which was a challenge but helped me improve my layout and organization skills, while Photoshop and Illustrator were essential for creating and refining design elements. This project was a great way to end the class and semester, allowing me to tie everything together and showcase how much I’ve grown as a designer.
