Polaroid OneStep SX-70 User Guide
This project introduced me to isometric illustration for the first time, and I used it to build a playful, poster-style guide for the Polaroid OneStep SX-70 camera. I created an 11 × 17-inch step-by-step infographic in Adobe Illustrator that explains the camera’s parts and basic functions in a way that feels simple and fun to follow. I leaned into the Polaroid’s iconic rainbow stripe and bold shapes, turning them into key visual elements that helped make the design feel bright and cartoon-like. My goal was to make a technical process understandable at a glance, so I combined labeled diagrams, step instructions, and fun facts to keep it both informative and visually engaging. Overall, this project helped me learn how to communicate complex information through design while still keeping personality and nostalgia at the center.
